- How are prices stated in Marinanet's offer?
- Vessel rental: per boat per week
- Sailing school: per person/course
- In the offer of berth reservation per vessel for ordered period.
- Why do I have to pay in advance?
- By paying in advance, you are guaranteed to get the exact service arranged you viewed and reserved on our web pages since your advance payment paid for the vessel or sailing school course, e.g. the entire amount paid for the berth reservation is immediately forwarded to the service provider. Read our General Terms and Conditions for further information. - Why do you sometimes get a negative response to your inquiry even though our web pages show different?
- Since we contact our service providers by phone, by email or web page to check service availability immediately after your inquiry, it is unfortunately not possible to keep availability on our web pages updated to the minute. Nevertheless, we do our best to update service availability as frequently as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience.
- Where can I obtain fishing and underwater fishing licenses and find out more about diving?
- In every larger tourist destination, you can obtain your fishing and underwater fishing licenses in the Harbor Master's Office. Visit the Croatian Diving Association web site in order to find out more about diving in Croatia.
- Is it possible to take the service of accommodation on vessel without skipper's or VHF license?
- It is possible to book the accommodation on vessel without skipper's and VHF (license for running radio equipment) license but only with a certified skipper. The above named licenses can be obtained in Port Authorities in your country as well as Croatia. In case you don't own a license, you can book a skipper, in cooperation with the service provider, with Marinanet (payment for skipper services, depending on the conditions of service provider on the vessel, will be possible with adriatica.net d.o.o. or directly in the marina during vessel takeover).
- Why is it necessary to pay extra for one-way accommodation service on the vessel?
- One-way accommodation service on the vessel, in case the service is provided, includes taking over of the vessel in one and leaving it in another port. Due to the fact that the vessel is left in a port, which is different from the starting port, it is necessary to pay extra for the fuel in order for the service provider to return the vessel into the starting port. Because of the return time, it is most often necessary to return the vessel one day earlier. In this case the rent is for 6 instead of 7 days.
- Will I be able to run the vessel on my own after attending your sailing school?
- Certificate, which you will receive after attending Marinanet School of sailing, does not allow you to independently run a vessel (sailing boat or motor boat). In the school you will acquire knowledge and experience in sailing and get to know the magic of sea and sailing. Moreover, spending 7 days in a specific "sailor" surrounding will surely be memorable.
- Why is it necessary that the service in the vessel be from Saturday to Saturday?
- Renting on Saturday - Saturday basis enables the accommodation service on a vessel throughout the entire season. In this way we elude having the so-called "empty" days without accommodation service.
